July 28, 2024

Geneva, Switzerland – The Global Shapers Annual Summit 2024, held from August 10th to August 13th, brought together 500 new curators from over 150 countries for a series of impactful discussions and workshops. Among the esteemed attendees was Bat-Orgil Bat-Erdene, the newly elected Curator of the Ulaanbaatar Hub, representing Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

This year’s summit, themed “Shaping the Future Together,” focused on fostering collaboration and innovation among young leaders to tackle not only local but global challenges. The event featured keynote speeches from prominent global leaders, interactive sessions on sustainable development, climate action, and networking opportunities aimed at building stronger ties between hubs worldwide.

Ulaanbaatar hub is one of the world renowned hubs in the Global Shapers Community. During the summit, our Curator shared our hub’s excellence with the headquarter and engaged with fellow curators, sharing insights on Ulaanbaatar’s project initiatives in climate change and youth empowerment.

“It was an honor to represent Ulaanbaatar at the Global Shapers Annual Summit,” Bat-Orgil remarked. “The exchange of ideas and experiences with curators from around the world has been incredibly enriching. I’m excited to bring back new strategies and collaborations to enhance our impact in Ulaanbaatar.”

The Global Shapers Annual Summit 2024 concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and a collective commitment to shaping a better future. Curators departed Geneva with actionable plans and strengthened networks, ready to implement their learnings in their respective communities.
