Global Dignity Day takes place in schools on the third Wednesday of October each year. It is carried out in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Oceania, Africa and the Americas. Thousands of volunteers act as guides and facilitators, leading the students in a conversation about dignity. Global Shapers Ulaanbaatar Hub together with Young Global Leaders carry out this project every year in October.

Young Global Leaders (YGL) and Global Shapers Ulaanbaatar Hub successfully carried out Global Dignity Day in seven secondary schools around Ulaanbaatar during month of October. 2016 was our 7th year participating in Global Dignity Day and we are proud to contribute and continue to reach more citizens every year. In 2016 we’ve reached around 450 secondary school students by leading and facilitating activities in their plenary. In addition, we had discussions on Dignity with 70 teachers of School #55, upon their request. American School of Ulaanbaatar, Orchlon and Sant school include Dignity Day in the curriculum, where their teachers lead Dignity discussions throughout their secondary school.

We will continue to participate in Global Dignity day as a hub and continue to help young people fulfill their full potential.
